Easthampstead Park Conference Centre is able to provide a wide range of indoor based activities either as part of a complete team building day, or single/multiple activities to complement a conference.
The wide range of activities is too vast to list within one area however some of the more interesting workshops/activities held within the centre have included:-
CHOCOLATE WORKSHOPS
Develop your skills to become a professional chocolatier, creating your own
delicious delights! Our workshops offer superb training from an expert tutor, and
give delegates the opportunity to gain hands on experience in making exquisite
chocolates (which you can take away with you). Then, all you have to do is wow
your family with your new found skills!
TASTE THE DIFFERENCE - WINE TASTING
Our team of lively wine experts have many years of experience in their field and are
strongly aware that entertainment stems from humour, participation and a convivial
atmosphere. Their approach and the interactive nature of the event, ensure that
even those with only a casual interest in wine quickly become engrossed. Our
experts’ understanding of the subject will satisfy even the most knowledge thirsty.
MAGIC & MIND READING WORKSHOPS
The art of conjuring is possibly one of the oldest theatrical skills.
Our fun based team building workshops involve a professional magician(s) teaching
your group how to perform a number of selected tricks. You will learn the
psychology, technique and methods used in creating the extraordinary visual effects
used by professionals. Delegates will gain first-hand experience in planning,
analyzing and adopting professional magic effects... Discover how easy it is to
stimulate, motivate and energize your audience's reaction.
COCKTAIL MAKING & FLARING
This fully interactive package encourages teams to battle it out behind our stylish mobile
cocktail bars, with detailed instruction from some of the UK’s leading cocktail performers.
Be prepared for some serious fun while you learn how to mix the perfect cocktail and
serve in style. Our team of expert cocktail barmen will help you mix, taste and present
some of worlds most exotic and delicious drinks. They will also demonstrate and teach you
some “flaring”, the art of juggling bottles and pouring cocktails with flair.
ROLL UP… THE CIRCUS WORKSHOP IS IN TOWN!
Many people have never had a chance to experiment with circus skills
before. Circus skills require concentration and confidence, and our workshop
offers a genuine learning experience and confidence booster. The workshop
really helps to develop individuals within the team.
Delegates will work in pairs or small groups, allowing them to observe and
learn from people within their own group. A highly enjoyable way for people
to develop important skills that apply to all walks of life.
DRUM CIRCLE
Drum Circle combines outrageous fun and creativity, with the enhancement of the day-to-day skills necessary for a
successful business.
A Drum Circle is simply a group of people playing together, using different sized hand drums and percussion
instruments under the guidance of our superb Drum Facilitator (the "Conductor"). Within a very short space of
time we can moulds your company's "Orchestra" using simple African and Samba rhythms. Drumming has been
used as a form of communication throughout history. From ancient tribes, to armies of the world; from religious
ceremonies, to music therapy in medicine, rhythm surrounds and permeates every aspect of our daily lives.
DJ WORKSHOP
Ever listened to a DJ and wondered how he mixes the records like that?
Now it is your chance to be a DJ for the day! Before we let you loose on
decks / cd players our professional DJ will demonstrate the ins and outs:
cueing up and fading, using the cross fade, headphone
mixes… After training is complete your guess will be
synchronising rhythm tracks and using pitch control,
counting bars and beats… ready for Wembley Stadium! Pete

ICE SCULPTING
Ice has grain just like wood, but it is very fragile and of course perishable at
normal room temperatures. Carving ice is a complicated process but great fun and
a real test of team work and skill. With crystal clear ice blocks made from the
purest of water let our leading master ice carvers give you the opportunity to try
latest techniques and create your very own masterpiece.
SCALEXTRIC RACING CIRCUITS
Brands Hatch, Le Mans and Monaco… Speed, glamour and excitement
brought to life at your team building event with our giant custom built race
track. Individuals and teams will “pit” themselves against each other in
this fierce test of agility and skill. The chequered flag could be falling over
you as you race your Formula One sports cars around our fast and furious
track. Show your skills as a driver handling the bends, keeping your nerve
as you accelerate down the back straight. Be careful though, a blowout or
gearbox failure could put you in the pits where our mechanics will be
waiting to get you back in the race. 6 lane tracks enable you and teams to
battle it out.
VIRTUAL GOLF
With over 6 million golfers in the UK today, Golf is rapidly becoming one of
the countries most popular sports. Using the latest technology and
incorporating photo-real graphics, players of all abilities and ages have
the opportunity to experience this state of the art golf simulator. Using real
golf clubs, players can choose from courses worldwide that have been
selected specifically for their natural beauty and playability. Whilst we can
use real golf balls we normally use "soft" golf balls for safety, however the
software makes allowances for this and the playability is completely
unaffected. Making their own choice of club, players hit a golf ball on to a
large photo-real image of one of the world's most famous courses. Watch
as the computer takes over and sensing it's natural path recreates it
instantly on the screen leaving it to rest on the fairway, in the rough or
even in a bunker, just as on a real course. Hold a Nearest the Pin or Long
Driving competition or play 9/18 holes, the choice is yours.
