Wedding & Events Executive | Full Time

We are ideally looking for someone that has previous experience working in a similar role who is enthusiastic about weddings.
The ideal candidate will be highly customer focused team player with a positive demeanour and can-do attitude. The ability to work under pressure whilst displaying a keen eye for detail and excellent communication are key to this role alongside a warm and genuine approach. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year. Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to and sending proposals to wedding enquiries received via our website, email or telephone, whilst upselling on every occasion to maximise revenue
  • Following up on enquiries, and conducting showrounds (both pre-booked and walk in’s) to company standards to convert enquiries into bookings, whilst ensuring the commerciality of each event via optimum diary management
  • Completion of wedding contracts with highest level of accuracy to ensure a superior customer experience and overall successful event
  • Plan & execute details of the wedding via function sheets in a timely and highly accurate manner, from enquiry through to completion whilst working closely with both the wider sales and operational teams including the Operations / Wedding Manager running the event on the day
  • Assisting with planning and hosting of Wedding Fairs, Open Evenings, and Menu Showcase Evenings
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Key qualities and experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of OPERA is an advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent written and oral communication

Kitchen Porter | Full Time

As Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for the pot wash area in a busy kitchen. You will need to be a good communicator, take pride in your work and be flexible in your approach. Attention to detail in ensuring that all crockery, cutlery and pots and pans are cleaned to the highest standard. Previous experience of working as a Kitchen Porter is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. Hours are 40 per week over 5 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to be part of this growing brand of unique properties. Permanent Full-Time. 40 hours per week. £23,792.20 per annum 

Social Media Content Creator | Full Time

Easthampstead Park Hotel, Wokingham, RG40 3DF

Work Schedule: Full Time 45 hours per week (including weekends)
Generally working Thursday to Monday. Work Location: In person

Role to cover Easthampstead Park in Wokingham & Gorse Hill in Woking With travel to other venues as required. Permanent Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum plus tips.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to create content for our social media platforms – primarily wedding content for Instagram and You Tube – and to manage the day-to-day posting of amazing content. If you have a genuine interest in everything weddings and love photography and videography, then you could be just the person we are looking for. You will primarily be based at the beautiful Easthampstead Park Hotel and will normally create content for Easthampstead Park (Wokingham) and Gorse Hill Hotel (Woking).

We’re looking for someone creative with photo/video filming and editing skills who is looking to develop and grow with our expanding business.
The role will report into the General Manager/Sales Manager of each venue and will be tasked with driving increased subscribers, engagement and views in order to focus on maximising wedding bookings. You will work closely with our Marketing team to ensure that content helps to continue improving our web authority.

Daily responsibilities
· Create high-quality and informative photo and video content – mainly weddings, but the role will also include other aspects of the business such as Christmas parties, afternoon tea, gym, etc.
· To edit and schedule content, and post on our social platforms and channels
· Design and manage creative assets
· Stay up to date with industry trends and work with the sales and marketing teams to identify ways to improve our content and optimise our social media strategy

Essential requirements
· Able to film and edit amazing photos and videos
· Has a love of all things wedding!
· Can demonstrate a meticulous eye for photo/video creation, storytelling and creative ideas
· Proficient in using design programmes
· Able to analyse technical issues and work around limitations
· Employs excellent time management and organisational skills, meeting deadlines, working independently and under pressure without sacrificing quality
· A collaborative team player with a willingness to get involved, develop new skills and be proactive in response to feedback
· Keen to learn and stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
· Fluent and articulate in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Able to drive and access to a car in order to travel between locations (mileage paid)
· Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
· Must be able to work full-time
Desirable skills and experience
· Recent 2:1 or above graduate with a BA in English, Journalism, Public Relations or another media-related degree (in lieu of degree, at least 2 years of relevant experience)
· Social media channel capabilities (including posting on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, X, TikTok and web forums as necessary)
· Prior experience in a similar role within hospitality or digital media
· Comprehension of analytics tools and performance metrics for social media and websites
· History of creating great photos or videos and running your own channel
· Experience with studio lighting for film production
· Experience with content tools, including Adobe Premier Pro and Canva
· SEO knowledge
